Work Dogs, and Inspector Cats

We Love Pets

No need to lock up your pets when I come to paint. I love dogs and cats! And they quickly warm up to me.

My drop-cloths are like welcome mats. Some hang out with me for a while. Others come by to sniff the previous dog’s scent.

Some may be deemed by their owners as too curious to be around open or fresh paint. And in those cases I might only be able to greet them before they’re whisked away to watch from a safe distance.

Whichever might be the case for your pet, I look forward to meeting them. And you!

What to Expect

The process starts with a quick phone call overview of the project size/scope and start/finish dates. If we’re in agreement to move forward, I like to meet with you in person on site and listen to what you want done. I will assess and measure the room(s) as appropriate. After that I will email a proposal within 24 hours or less.

I work with people who desire a quality outcome.

The wrong type of paint can stink, cause headaches, drip and not adhere well. I like to use high quality paint that is low VOC (odor) and quick drying. That minimizes exposure to paint fumes for you, your children and your pets. And hopefully it’s dry before accidental bumps might occur against the freshly painted surface.

You choose the color and I’ll select the paint.

Your Stuff

You can move your furniture.

I can move your furniture. Or, we can both move your furniture.

Your house and belongings are important. That’s why I’m insured and bonded.

Professional Painting Services

Interior Painting

Whether it’s walls, ceilings, windows, doors, trim or shelving, if it’s inside and needs paint, we’ll paint it. And while we’re there, we’ll do the other services below:

Priming

Many of the quality paints have a primer included within it so a specific coat of only primer may not be necessary. However, if it’s time for a complete color change, or it’s been a long time since the walls have been cared for, and/or lots of drywall repair has been done, then a coat of primer may be best.

Drywall Repair & Texturing

You don’t put lipstick on a pig and expect it to look beautiful. Likewise, you don’t want to paint over blemished walls or ceilings. The cracks, dings and imperfections must be tended to. Additionally, you want the texture to match the existing walls so that everything blends nicely together and the paint magnifies a well done wall.

Nail Pop Repair

Nail pops. That’s what those blackhead ceiling pimples are called. When the drywall nails don’t stay put and push through the ceiling. They need to be removed and replaced with a drywall screw(s) and then spackled or mudded. I’ll do that. Let’s make that ceiling look awesome! (People do look up.)

Caulking

Oftentimes window treatments can hide what’s going on around the window. You know, like the reason you haven’t looked behind them since uh, never? There’s probably peeling caulk and potential mold and a gross buildup of ick. I’ll make it look new again before it gets painted. (That means I’m gonna remove the window treatments!)

Hole Patching

Maybe you’ll put those pictures back where they went before the paint job. But what about all of those other holes behind the pictures? They need to be filled so your walls look great.
