Interior Painting Leander, Texas
Walls, ceilings, windows, doors, trim or shelving: if it is inside and needs paint, Seth paints it. Leander is home base, so the drive is measured in minutes and walkthroughs are usually same or next day. Old Town settling and Travisso builder paint are two very different jobs, and the prep below changes accordingly.
When Priming Earns Its Coat
Most quality paints carry primer, so a dedicated coat is a decision rather than a default. In Old Town Leander, where walls have gone a long while without care, it usually earns its place. In Travisso and Bryson it rarely does unless you are making a dramatic color change. Seth tells you which applies to your house.
Cracks, Dings and Texture
Leander homes move. Older ones open at the corners as the framing settles, newer ones crack where the house is still drying out. Either way the damage gets cut out, taped and mudded, then the texture is blended to the surrounding wall so the repair disappears instead of sitting there as a smooth patch.
What About the Other Holes
You will probably rehang some of the pictures exactly where they were. The problem is all the other holes, from arrangements you abandoned years ago and anchors from shelving that came down in a previous decade. Every one of them gets filled and sanded flush before the first coat goes on.
Nail Pops on Your Ceilings
Those small dark circles on the ceiling are drywall nails pushing back through as the framing dries. New Leander builds throw their first round around year two. Each one gets backed out, replaced with a screw that actually holds, then mudded and blended into the texture. People do look up.
Window Caulking
Window treatments hide a great deal, and in a Leander house that has not had them down in ten years, what is behind them is usually hardened caulk, a gap at the frame and a layer of grime. The treatments come down, the old bead comes out, and it gets sealed properly before painting.
Painting in Leander
Leander is home base. Between Devine Lake Park, the older streets of Old Town and the newer development pushing out along Ronald Reagan Boulevard, the city has changed shape considerably in ten years. Homes here are served by Leander ISD. The houses reflect that range, and so does the work.
Common Questions
Do you work in Travisso and Bryson?
Yes, regularly. Both are newer developments where thin builder paint and first-round nail pops are the usual complaints, so the repair and the repaint happen in the same visit rather than as two separate projects.
How soon can you come look at the job?
Leander is home base, so walkthroughs are usually same day or next day. You get a written proposal by email within 24 hours of that visit.
Do I need to move all my furniture before you arrive?
No. Some people prefer to clear the room themselves, some would rather Seth handle it, and plenty split the difference. Whatever you decide, it gets sorted before any drop cloths come out.
